At Lab Pharmacy in Northcote, Auckland, we offer professional earwax microsuction for adults and children aged 6 and above. Our 30-minute earwax removal appointments allow ample time to discuss your needs, visually examine the ear canals, and safely remove earwax buildup.

Earwax removal may be necessary for various reasons:

• Excessive wax production, which can lead to hearing loss or ear infections.

• Narrow or small ear canals, causing wax to build up more quickly.

• Curved ear canals, where bends make natural cleaning less effective.

• Use of hearing aids, which can interfere with the ear's self-cleaning process.

• Frequent headphone or earphone use, a growing concern among younger individuals.

Our trained pharmacists are dedicated to providing high-quality hearing care, ensuring effective results for all clients.

• The initial earwax removal  is $60, which is typically sufficient to clear earwax.

• If a follow-up visit is required (such as if the wax was not softened adequately beforehand or is particularly compacted), the cost for a subsequent appointment is $100.

• If no earwax is found upon inspection, the fee is $35.
